I hope we get plenty of time to practice; the change that concerns me is that I cannot open multiple windows and bounce between them (like Discharge and Check Item Status). Thank you to the trainers for their patience with me as I learn what it is like to be deprived of a mouse!

To access "Multiple windows mode":
Click on "Preference" then "Desktop"-desktop setup-Check mark Multiple windows mode. Shut down and restart. That should do it! Happy training. dc@pt
You are right, moving between windows has changed. You can no longer carry over an item between discharge and check item status. You can, with discharge and check item status open, click on Windows then click on Vertical and type in a barcode displayed in the discharge window into the check item status window. This is not ideal.
I think, that as we use the new Workflows, staff will discover ways to work around this.

CRTL + F6 lets you flip through open windows--look in "Help" for other keyboard shortcuts.
